I have sat here trying to figure out how I can put into words just how bad my wanderlust is at this moment. I am a self identified free-spirit and I think my family and anyone close to me would agree with this. I have always been the type of child to do my own thing, make my own rules, and explore my surroundings. That same desire to explore and do my own thing has transpired to wanderlust as an adult. Metaphors are fun, right?

This post is going to be a ramble of sorts with lots of football and card game metaphors that just spring to my mind. This is what happens when I drink some wine and sit behind my computer at 10:30 on a Saturday night when I should really be doing something more productive but instead, I am doing the exact opposite while broadway hits play in the background just writing along. I have always been the kind of person that when I want to be organized I make a list. I don’t particularly stick to said list but I like to think that there is some part of me that is a list follower.
